Oncology Programs for

Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield recognizes the key role that oncology specialists play in safeguarding the health of their patients (our members).To assist oncologists in delivering high-quality, high-value care, we are pleased to highlight our collaboration with AIM Specialty Health®.

Important note: The AIM Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology programs apply to all Arkansas Blue Cross and Health Advantage members and some (but not all) members of self-funded health plans served by BlueAdvantage Administrators of Arkansas. To identify an included member, just look on the member’s health insurance ID card.

Effective August 1, 2021, oncology providers will use the following AIM programs for all Arkansas Blue Cross members who receive chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy for the treatment of cancer:

AIM programs seek to support clinicians by highlighting evidence-based, high-value care and clinical best practices. Our shared goal is to ensure that our members receive care that is both effective and safe.

The addition of these two programs does not affect treatment plans initiated before August 1, 2021.
