Most patients prefer to receive their therapy in a clinically appropriate, convenient, and affordable setting, such as a physician’s office or even their home, rather than a hospital outpatient facility, which can be expensive or far away. To support that preference when appropriate, our Specialty Drugs program can offer clinically appropriate, convenient, and cost-effective settings (called alternative levels of care) to the providers who order specialty drugs. The providers can then refer their patients to the alternative level of care providers available to them.
By registering as an alternative level of care provider, your site becomes listed as an available alternative and may be offered to ordering providers by our Specialty Drugs program.
